The Carrots

About:

Based in San Francisco, The Carrots (@thecarrots_sf) cook up a distinct instrumental sound that swirls surf rock, psych, jazz, and groove into something all its own.

Campbell (electric guitar) and Garrett (electric octave mandolin) started writing music together in 2016, and soon started playing friends’ backyards and small venues across the bay area. Their intricate, deeply melodic songs and shows quickly garnered the duo a local following. As the gigs grew, so did the band – eventually adding local musicians Dylan Jones and Chris Farwell on drums and bass.

With two EPs (2020’s Dessert Slice and 2022’s Say Yeah) under their belt, The Carrots released their first full length album Potion in the Fall of 2024. The group plays live regularly and are currently working on their next project.
