Opened in 1972, Piedmont Boutique is hands down my favorite place to peruse when I’m in need of a costume or any fun accessories. The first thing you’ll notice when visiting their shop are the striking, fishnet stocking legs cascading outside the upstairs window. These legs have become an iconic landmark of the Haight, and for me, a reminder of the vibrant and playful spirit of San Francisco.
